The first thing that I learned at the website seminar this weekend was all about SEO services. I am an old school website builder and I have not kept up with the times. I always have thought that if it was not broken, then we should not fix it. My past clients who had been very happy in the past were starting to campaign that their sites were losing their thunder to a bunch of new sites.

I figured that I better get on the ball or I was going to have to refund all of their money. I did not have any money to give them so I opted for the free SEO marketing seminar at the library instead. I learned more in the first ten minutes then I had all of the last four years in checking out stuff on the web.

I got on board with how to do SEO services myself and made phone calls to all of my clients after I returned the next day. I explained how I was going to start them each on their own SEO marketing plan and we would have them back where they were before, and probably even a little better.

I would never want to have to choose between all of the different models of the iron entry doors and iron gates in the showroom that I just walked into with my friend. I even told her not to ask my opinion when she goes to make her final purchases. I told her if I did not like it, I would let her know but that was it.

Since her husband could not get the time off from work to come with her, she had called me to see if I would accompany her. I had no problem going shopping but did not want to be responsible for making the final decision on her iron entry doors and iron gates that would be installed at her house for a long time.

I had noticed many models that I thought were very pretty but then I got to looking at the prices and walked away. She had not given me a price that she was willing to pay, but I figured that she was not too worried about it. She usually gets what she wants and money is no problem. I am sure that with something so important as iron entry doors and gates, the same would apply.

I would like to do a report for school on Danny DeMichele. I am supposed to talk about someone who has made a name for themselves since the internet craze has come about. I chose Danny DeMichele because I know that my parents hired him to turn around our really bad website and he did it. He has written books and articles and won different kinds of awards.

I think that someone who can make a name for themselves in the short time that Danny DeMichele has been working on internet marketing, then they deserved some credit from us little people out there. I know that my mother had his book and she will let me use it to compile some facts on what Danny DeMichele is an expert on.

My paper is due next week and I am going to have it finished about four days ahead of schedule. It helps when the subject is something that you are very interested in and excited about. Danny DeMichele is someone that I aspire to be like when I grow up. My father laughs at me and says that if I stay on top of what all the internet marketing companies are doing, then I will be able to take Danny’s job when I am old enough.

I just received a call from out store in Chicago; they are having a lot of trouble with their poweredge servers and cannot get a dell repair service to come out till Monday to check them out. I knew that there was no way they could go almost a week with faulty servers, so I called in a few favors. My brother lives about two hours from that store and he has a brother in law that is just as close, who is a dell repair man.

I made the phone call to my brother and explained the situation of how the store was having difficulty with their poweredge servers and asked if there was any way he could call his brother in law and beg him to drive the two hours to Chicago and repair the problem. He told me that he would try and I did not hear back from him for an hour.

In the end, my brother was able to get his brother in law to make the drive and repair the poweredge servers in the store. They are back up and running now and I am glad that I have such a great brother who was willing to help me.

The computer technicians division in our office has called a meeting for everyone in the building for this afternoon. I guess that this meeting is mandatory and they will be discussing the new system x servers they would be installing over the weekend. The last time that they called a mandatory meeting, it was to ask each department to give up some of their budgeted operating funds to help purchase the system x servers that were so badly needed in this building.

I remember that the current xseries servers that are currently being used were installed about ten years ago and they were bought used from a company that had just gone bankrupt. No one knows how long the other company had used the xseries servers for before they sold them to us. They may have used them for ten years themselves.

When the meeting started, the head of the computer department informed us that indeed the new system x servers had come in. They were trying to coordinate a good time to transfer everything over from the old ones, to the new ones. They wanted each office to write down the best time for them and they would try and do their best to accommodate everyone’s needs and cause very little interruptions.

There was a newspaper article about an interior painting company that offers half price discounts to people who are handicapped and for senior citizens. I think that this is a great idea, since most of these people are on fixed incomes and have a hard time just paying for the things that they need like heat, food and prescriptions.

I let my pastor know about this interior painting company because I thought that he may want to share this information to our group of seniors who meet every Wednesday morning in the church basement for social hour. He was happy to pass the information along to them.

After the pastor passed along the information on the painting company, I found out that four different senior couples from my church had the entire inside of their homes completely repainted. They had always thought that they could not afford it and with the half price discount, they were able to have it done.

I was happy to have helped them get the kind of things they wanted, too many times people have to choose between the things they want and the things they need and I am glad that these four couples can have both.

When we went to the local home show this year that is held at a local armory building, I learned a lot about windows. Everything I had thought I known before had just been totally changed. I always thought that if you want new windows, your only choices were vinyl or vinyl.

I guess that you can choose to go with wood windows now that are energy efficient. They even had wood windows that look like vinyl windows. Why you would want your wood windows to look like vinyl windows is a mystery to me, but you can.

Since I am interested in having some kitchen garden windows installed in the kitchen, I have to decide if I want them to be made of and how much I am willing to spend since I also learned that not all windows are not as energy efficient as you may think. I learned how to figure out how energy efficient a window is, by reading the labels on them. I would need to make sure the kitchen garden windows I have put in, are very efficient because I do not want to have to pay more for my heating costs because of getting new windows.

I found three different styles of wood windows that are also garden windows that I really like and have been comparing their cost and efficiency to determine which one I will buy.

The water damage repair company came out to figure out just how much it was going to cost to fix everything in the basement. I knew that they would probably have to remove most of the drywall and all of the carpet in addition to the furnace. The furnace seemed to be under about three feet of water, so I am not sure how it will be affected.

The day that I called the water damage repair company, they told me that since the flood had hit so many homes, there was a long list of people ahead of me that needed to be assessed also. I figured that it might take weeks for them to come out, but they ended up getting to my house about three days later. They had hired extra crews to help with the overload of people who needed help.

The other thing that needed to be taken care of from the flood was the fact that the CO deck construction company that had been installing my new deck before everything flooded had left everything laid on the ground and it had almost all floated away. I was not sure if my insurance company had to cover that or if the CO deck construction company’s insurance covered it. That will be my next call to make today.
