Reliable Repair Services
Automotive and Cars July 30th, 2010My grandmother, who at the age of 80 years old, still drives her old BMW. My father has already given her the strict instructions that she should not drive it anymore because of her age. My grandmother is a very active lady. She wants to go downtown in her car and maybe just flaunts to everyone that she still can drive even at her age. Well, there was one instance that made her change her mind and gave her car to me.
It was a beautiful Sunday morning. All of us agreed to go to the park and have lunch there. We called grandmother and told her that we would pick her. The answer was a NO or else she would not join. To make it short, we reached park and waited for her. An hour had passed without her and then the phone call. Dad can barely hear my grandmother. Her voice was frantic. Her car broke in the middle of the road. With the help of 2 young men, they were able to push the car to the shoulder lane. My father called his friend who worked in shop who does domestic transmission repair and gave them grandma’s location.
There was a problem with the clutch and since the shop is also known for best clutch repair service, I agreed to bring my grandmother’s car to their shop for a thorough repair. Since then, grandmother stopped driving and I never encountered any problems with the car too.
