Last time I tried to get a better car insurance rate on my truck I did not feel like the insurance company was treating me right. They said because my truck was a four wheel drive vehicle that my rate would be more than a two wheel drive vehicle.

I would think an all wheel drive truck would be safer than a two wheel drive vehicle so I do not understand why it would be more. I continued to look for better car insurance rates then I also found out that because my truck is a sport model it also will cost more. I could not believe this, it is a truck with dual exhaust and it has a sticker on the side that says “sport”, why on earth would it cost more?

This whole thing with car insurance companies just annoys me, if I did not have to have car insurance I wouldn’t believe me, but it is the law so I have no choice. I did however finally find some good car insurance companies that were pretty reasonable.

With the Internet these days the insurance industry is much more competitive which means better car insurance rates for consumers like you and me. I am all for that any day. I used to think that insurance was not that important until I had an accident and saw the bill for my car and the other car that I hit. I would not have that kind of money on hand so I am grateful for car insurance when I need it. Like the old saying goes; better safe than sorry.
